Star Micronics, a leading manufacturer of mobile, point of sale (POS), and customer engagement technologies, has announced that Acadia has added support for Star's TSP100IIIU receipt printer.
Acadia POS was designed from the ground-up to provide clients with an affordable and easy-to-use point of sale platform. They chose to integrate with Star printers for that very reason.
Star's TSP100IIIU is one of the most in-demand and easy-to-operate printers on the market today. It offers USB connection for device communication, while charging an iPad or iPhone device simultaneously. The TSP100III prints at a high-speed of 43 RPM (250mm/s), and includes "drop-in & print" paper loading and a guillotine auto-cutter.
Acadia offers a point of sale that is customized with special features to help retailers get the most out of their system. By hand selecting the most essential and used features, Acadia has developed a solution that is great for a variety of industries. Some key features of the Acadia POS include accounting, inventory management, reporting, discounting, and much more. The browser-based solution continues to operate, even when internet is unavailable and runs at high-speed so there is no downtime between ringing up the customer and the actual checkout.
"Acadia POS is pleased to be collaborating with Star Micronics. The Star Micronics brand is the most popular amongst our merchants because their printers are fast and require the least amount of support. Acadia's cloud architecture supports both legacy hardware through our Acadia connector, but we are ready to support IOT devices such as the Star CloudPRNT line of products," said Benjamin Leviton, Director of Sales for Acadia POS.
The Star and Acadia solution is perfect for bars, cafes, campgrounds, catering, quick-service restaurants, garden supply, and SMB retail settings.
