Petrosoft, a leading retail operator and engineer who had earlier developed a cloud-based back-office software solution, has now launched its restaurant point-of-sale (POS), ordering and delivery solution on the eve of 2016 National Restaurant Association's Restaurant, Hotel-Motel Show to be held at McCormick Place, Chicago from May 21-24.
As an end-to-end retail technology provider, the company now offers a restaurant POS, ordering, delivery and back-office solutions that are tailored to meet the unique environmental and business demands of quick-service, fast casual and pizza restaurant operations.
"After investing over two years into the research and development of this solution, we are excited to debut the SmartPOS 400 and Qwickserve bundled solution to the restaurant industry. This technology enables restaurant owners to streamline ordering while also gaining operational efficiencies throughout the ordering process,” said Sergey Gorlov, CEO of Pretrosoft.
The solution includes a point-of-sale (POS) system with an embedded ordering system, a self-service kiosk ordering system, prep station, and delivery management system. The solution also integrates seamlessly with its cloud-based back-office solution.
According to the 2016 NRA survey, the top five reasons for choosing a limited-service restaurant are, not surprisingly, menu driven with 23 and 50 percent of consumers accessing menus from their mobile phones at least weekly or monthly, respectively. To attract and retain customers, restaurant operators are diversifying their menus, introducing new and seasonal offerings.
Technology can help restaurant operators to keep their menus up-to-date and easily accessible to new and returning customers while improving operational efficiencies in the front-of-the-house, back-of-the-house and delivery operations.
