Panasonic Launches Handheld Devices Toughbook FZ-T1 and FZ-L1 in India

Panasonic has recently launched two handheld devices, Toughbook FZ-T1 and FZ-L1, aimed at enterprises in India.

Both the new Toughbook models are MIL-STD-810G military-grade certified and have IP68 rating for water- and dust-resistance. The company said these two handheld devices can also accept stylus input and run Android 8.1 Oreo.

Prices of the Toughbook FZ-T1 and FZ-L1 start at Rs 60,000.

The Panasonic FZ-T1 comes with a 5-inch HD display (1,280 x 720 pixels) with 10-point capacitive multi-touch that features rain sensing and glove touch mode. It has an integrated barcode scanner and works with a stylus.

The rugged device has drop resistance of up to 5 feet, the company claims. It is powered by a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor (chipset not revealed) and is claimed to deliver a battery backup of up to 12 hours.

The Panasonic FZ-L1, on the other hand, comes with a bigger 7-inch display, which also supports glove and rain-sensing modes as well as stylus input. Like its sibling, this handheld can also survive drops from heights of up to 5 feet. It is said to deliver a 9-hour battery backup.

Both the devices have 2GB RAM, 16GB internal storage and Qualcomm Snapdragon processors.
