Electronic Payments, a leading provider of merchant services and innovative payment processing solutions, has acquired substantial assets of Exatouch Point of Sale, a PA-DSS certified cloud-hybrid point of sale software system providing customized solutions to merchants worldwide.
Through this acquisition, Electronic Payments will grow the Exatouch brand and offer its ISO, agent and merchant partners the most complete, industry-leading payment technologies. The agreement also complements and expands Electronic Payments' IP portfolio and software capabilities, driving innovation and incremental value.
All of Exatouch's employees have joined the EPI team and will work out of its Boca Raton offices, a press release said.
"On behalf of Exatouch, we are pleased to join the Electronic Payments family. The company's forward direction in software and technology makes EPI the perfect home for our team," commented Terry Glatt, Founder of Exatouch, adding, "The backing of EPI allows Exatouch to continue to uniquely service payments professionals who need a solid POS offering."
In January 2015, Electronic Payments launched the industry's only Clover Placement Program and other competitive POS initiatives, including its Datacap Usage Program that enables agents and ISOs to build their businesses through alliances with ISVs and VARs across the country. The programs have increased processing volumes and its agent base exponentially, placing Electronic Payments as one of the top ISO/MSPs in the United States.
"We look forward to welcoming the Exatouch team and contributing to their product vision. As a payments processor, we understand the need for progressive point of sale solutions that still possess an element of familiarity to the end-user," stated Electronic Payments Founder and CEO, Michael Nardy, who further added, "The Exatouch product suite will fit well into our company's technology offerings and allow us to serve our partners in new and exciting ways."
Exatouch serves merchants in all industries and will concentrate on several retail verticals including Liquor, Grocery and Convenience, Spa and Salon, as well as offerings for Restaurants. It offers a fully-certified, semi-integrated EMV solution and supports additional technologies such as signature capture, NFC, mobile wallets and eGiftSolutions, Electronic Payments' proprietary gift card platform.
