Delta is offering retailers a new point-of-purchase display that helps consumers answer their most common question about cellphone holders: "Does my phone or case fit?"
According to Delta, some bike shops have reported that they have to open product packaging as much as five times per day to check sizing for their customers.
The new POS, available to dealers at no charge, helps consumers easily answer the question. Delta's test marketing at some Boston dealers last summer resulted in a 20 percent increase in sales of Delta phone holders.
"The response to our display has been tremendous," Delta president Jeff Greenstein said. "Dealers and distributors are delighted to have a retail fixture that both solves a real problem and increases sales for them."
The display unit comes with three phone holders preinstalled and mounts to either slatwall or with a screw.
