Brother Mobile Solutions (BMS), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Brother International Corporation and premier provider of mobile and desktop printing solutions, in association with Retail Pro International, a global leader in retail software, will showcase advancements in associate-friendly mobile POS at the NRF 2016 “BIG Show,” to be held from January 17-20 at Javits Convention Center in New York City.
At NRF – the premier event in retail which draws more than 30,000+ attendees from around the world – the two companies will demonstrate mobile POS in action at Brother Booth #3079 and Retail Pro Booth #3763. There will be live demos in both the booths to showcase best-in-class retail software and mobile printers designed to empower retail associates to deliver a positive POS experience that turns shoppers into loyal customers, a press release noted.
The Brother team will also showcase its full line of 2, 3 and 4-inch mobile printers for retail and demonstrate the versatility and extreme simplicity of new AirPrint enabled models.
Attendees can also participate in a 60-second interactive survey that will capture real-time show-floor insights from retailers on their most pressing challenges.
Associate-friendly POS for Customer Engagement
David Crist, President of Brother Mobile Solutions, notes: “Today’s retailing environment is all about customer engagement and making the store shopping experience as satisfying as possible. In the store, it starts with the retail associate. We are excited to work closely with Retail Pro at NRF 16 as together, our companies offer a first-hand look at associate-friendly POS software and mobile printers designed specifically to empower retail associates to deliver a seamless transaction from virtually anywhere in the store.”
He continued, “It’s critical that retailers don’t underestimate the value of the right mobile POS and label printer in supporting an optimum shopping experience. While printing may be a final detail in the POS scenario and receipt options are expanding, a printed receipt is still a core requirement. When evaluating a mobile POS solution retailers must keep the associate in mind. That requires a next-gen mobile printing solution that is simple to use, intuitive and feature rich with advanced connectivity and interoperability. Associate-friendly is the next big thing in mobile retail, and we’re delivering it right now.”
Kerry Lemos, CEO of Retail Pro International adds, “In today’s competitive market, it’s critical for retailers to gain a holistic understanding of their customers so they can help them transform chaos into the retail reality they want to achieve. With the right tools for an improved customer experience, nothing is impossible. That is why we are pleased to work with Brother Mobile Solutions at NRF to demonstrate innovations in POS software and mobile printing.”
Retail Solutions with Advanced Connectivity
NRF demos will include Retail Pro’s Prism POS, a high-performance integrated software platform and Brother RuggedJet 3 mobile receipt and label printer. Designed to deliver the ultimate in user-friendly flexibility, the RJ-3150 features built-in AirPrint support so that associates can print receipts right on the sales floor, using a smartphone or tablet running on iOS, Android, Windows or Windows Mobile operating platforms.
The Brother RuggedJet 3 mobile printer makes it faster and easier than ever for sales associates and other store personnel to print wirelessly and directly from smart devices, regardless of operating platform. The compact, versatile RJ-3150 model provides dual wireless connectivity via Wi-Fi and Bluetooth for reliable operational mobility practically anywhere inside and outside the store’s four walls. A first-in-class large, full-color LCD display with simple, interactive menus offers simple operation and easy, intuitive navigation, even for non-technical sales associates.
These capabilities provide retail organizations with optimal flexibility in implementing associate-friendly mobile point-of-sale (POS) solutions that enhance the shopping experience, build customer loyalty and boost revenue.
