The compact desktop series is engineered for the speed, mobile specs and design versatility required in manufacturing, industrial, datacom and cable labeling applications - and uniquely serves harsh environments and other industries in which demand for fast, durable, professional quality labeling is growing.
Available in Wi-Fi and network versions, this high-performance desktop series comes equipped with the acclaimed P-touch Editor label design software, prints wider labels, up to 36mm, and free Brother apps and SDKs to help integrate the high-resolution thermal transfer plus lamination printing process into existing technology platforms and devices, including iOS and Android smartphones and tablets.

Brother P-touch PT-900 Series: Ready to Go Right Out-of-the-Box
The new Brother PT-900 Series includes two models: the PT-P900W and PT-P950NW. Each model offers a complete on-demand print and laminate label printing solution for applications requiring labels with premier print quality, superior surface finish, and extreme durability to withstand fading, peeling and abrasion, as well as the damaging effects of moisture and harsh environmental conditions.
At 360 dpi, both models offer high-speed printing of fully defined characters down to 2-point font size. In addition, both models come with a larger print head and prints up to 32mm high on 36mm wide tape. The printers feature a built-in automatic cutter that trims a continuous tape to virtually any length, one label at a time or as a strip of pre-cut labels.
Both models also come with a suite of full versions of Windows, Mac, iOS and Android software applications that other printer brands charge separately or bundle “starter” versions. P-touch Editor label design and printing software application can link and print laminated labels using data from a Microsoft SQL Server, Access, Excel or CSV files through the USB or the built-in Wi-Fi WLAN interface for either model; or the Ethernet LAN network or optional Bluetooth wireless interface for the PT-P950NW.
Brother’s comprehensive selection of UL-certified tapes come in an easy to load, drop-in cartridge that contains all the necessary components to print a laminated label in a single pass, using an innovative laminating thermal transfer technology. A range of optional accessories are available for both models to accommodate current needs and future requirements.
