BIXOLON, one of the leading global POS printer manufacturers, has launched SPP-R200III, a 2-inch, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth-enabled printer for POS, payments and auto-ID markets.
Supporting NFC tagging technology for auto-Bluetooth pairing with Android, iOS & Windows devices, alongside additional Apple MFi certification, the new auto-switch function provides automatic switching between iOS mode and standard Bluetooth modes.
Producing print speed of 100mm/sec with 203 dpi print quality and 58mm media width, SPP-R200III also creates high quality text, graphics and barcodes, a company release claimed.
Featuring an IP43 dust-protected and splash proof design with industry leading 2.1m drop test reliability, the printer can print 145 metres continuously with battery life offering a 24-hour standby once fully charged, making SPP-R200III ideal for printing on the move.
Identifying the need for a lightweight, compact printing solution, BIXOLON first entered the mobile printer market in 2007 with the launch of the SPP-R200 series, the world’s first compact mobile printer. Gaining a reputation for high quality and reliability, the SPP-R200 series has gained global market recognition.
“With extensive market experience and listening to customer feedback, Bixolon has developed the SPP-R200III with its two year warranty (including print head) in response to the ever changing requirements of mPOS market,” explained John Kim, Marketing Director, BIXOLON Co., Ltd.
“SPP-R200III joins our comprehensive portfolio of mPOS solutions, from Bluetooth and WiFi printers to mPOS hub solutions which are tailored to fit the customer’s POS environment and budget,” he further said.
